EScoP Course on Breast Pathology

We are pleased to announce the EScoP Course on Breast Pathology to take place from 5 – 7 November 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Educational Goals:

This EScoP course is an introduction to the subspecialty of Breast Pathology, with a focus on neoplasms of the breast. Attending this course will provide an overview of the most common breast cancer types, their classification and their morphological, immunohistochemical, and molecular features. Major objective of the course is to provide real-life examples via it several slide seminars.

Target Audience:

This EScoP course is available for both board-certified pathologists and those in training. Clinical colleagues, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, radiotherapists as well as Laboratory Scientists/Technicians are welcome to register.

Payments are available via online payment and bank transfer. There is no option for on-site registrations / payments.

Case Submissions

Bring your case Session:

Course participants are welcome to submit cases of Breast pathology to be discussed during the slide seminar sessions. All cases have to be submitted in advance of the course. The deadline to submit a case is 30 October 2026. For more information about case submission, please contact Dr Christos Poulios c.poulios@esp-pathology.org after successful registration. 

NB: case presentation from participants does not include a separate certificate.

CME Accreditation and Certificates

An application for the CME accreditation of the course is made. The number of CME credits will be announced in due time.

Venue and Hotel Accommodation

Accommodation: ESP has secured a preferential booking arrangement with Ramada by Wyndham. Attendees are invited to reserve their accommodation at a discounted rate via the link below. Please note that reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Terms and Conditions for attendance in ESP educational events

The registration for educational events organised by the European Society of Pathology (ESP) and the respective confirmation forms a contract between the course attendee and the ESP regarding attendance at the event. This contract is based on the following General Terms and Conditions.

Attendance at the ESP educational events, e.g. EScoP/ESP Courses, ESP Masterclasses, Workshops, is subject to a registration fee. Registration for the event and booking of services are binding for the attendee. The fees must be paid in advance on the dates specified. Any bank charges will be charged to the payer.

Please note that once you have booked a registration fee, it cannot be changed anymore and is binding. Please double-check your booking before completing your registration.

Upon registration for attendance, delegates grant the ESP the right to use any pictures/videos that are being made on-site at the respective event for publication on the ESP website, as well as on social media. This includes, but is not limited to the following media: 

  • ESP website
  • screens in the Course room
  • ESP social media channels (X, Facebook, LinkedIn)

The ESP will only use pictures/videos for internal publications and will not sell pictures/videos on stock photo platforms or else.

If you see a picture of yourself you would rather have deleted, please contact us at admin@esp-pathology.org and it will be taken off immediately.

The ESP reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the programme at short notice. There will be no pro rata refund of registration fees for changes to the programme.

In case of cancellation, please notify ESP at admin@esp-pathology.org in writing only.

A full refund minus a service charge of EUR 50 will be granted for cancellations up to two weeks before the event. After that no refunds will be granted.

For reasons beyond its control (such as war, strikes, lockouts, riots or any such civil disturbances, any acts of God, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, droughts and typhoons, pandemics and any other cause of circumstance of whatsoever nature beyond control) that have an impact on the arrangements, timetables or planning of the Courses and its corresponding activities, ESP has the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation.
