Education Subcommittee
Mission Statement of the ESP and of the ESP Education Subcommittee:
The European Society of Pathology (ESP) intends to play a leading role in postgraduate and continued education in pathology.
The ESP intends to do this through:
- Its Annual European Congresses of Pathology with a strong emphasis on didactic content (short courses, slide seminars)
- ESP courses and workshops on many subjects in pathology, provided in various formats to ensure optimal educational outcome
- Endorsing and advertising courses organised by national societies
- Interfacing with CME granting bodies of the European national certification boards and UEMS
- Organising the annual ESP Pathology Progress Test
- Offering online educational material, like webinars and on demand courses
